I found him at the best Antique shop that I've ever been to, it's called 'Twentieth Century Antiques & Collectables' in McLean St, Coolangatta. It's really worth a visit if you are into vintage or antiques or old toys.

I asked Heiko to guess which country he has stamped on his shoe:
1st guess: Holland.
2nd: Belgium.
3rd & correct guess: Germany.

He said maybe they used to wear this outfit in the north.

I found this little thing at the thrift shop. It's a pale pretty blue and the set up had a lot of "white", which is never really white. It was a bit confusing and that is the reason that I started with a grisaille. Not sure where to put my signature, though, maybe i'll just sign the back.

This is one of the Proteas I bought at the flea markets.

The colours seem to have scanned really bad, i don't know how to fix that.

This one is actually pretty shiny compared to the other ones i've made. I tried to use a lot thicker paint.

I bought a few of these cups for my family when Heiko & I were in Prague.
That cute fellow is called 'der Maulwurf' (the mole), you can read about him here.

This kind of sweet potato, with purple skin and white flesh, is my absolute favourite vegetable.
